Rhona Mitra Plays Eden Sinclair, a bad@$$ extrordiaire. I have been waiting for Rhona to fulfil the virtual promise of kicka$$ery that she demonstrated in "Beowulf" ( the 1999 version) . In other good news, she is currently filming "Underworld-3", where she will likely make an apt replacement for Kate Beckinsale.

This film blends some of the best elements from (Mad Max) "Road Warrior","Escape from New York", and
George Romero's motorcycle jousting "Kightriders" Eden is the most competent female human warrior that I have seen since Sarah Conner in Terminator2. You can't compare her to Kung Fu heroines , Selene, the death dealer from Underworld, or Trinity from the matrix, because I am just talking about a normal human fighter. Not someone souped up on cryptoxenic blood or virtual reality.
The bottom line is, if you love action, this is the film for you, in fact it is the very best movie I have seen all year, but then I haven't seen "Iron Man" or "Speed Racer" yet =)
